PREPARING for their show at Hylands Park in September, Wet Wet Wet drummer Tommy Cunnigham told the Weekly News: “It’s never rained at any of our outdoor shows.”
The Scottish superstars, best known for songs such as Love Is All Around and Sweet Little Mystery, will be appearing at the iconic Chelmsford venue on Sunday, September 14.
Tommy told the Weekly News he and the band were looking forward to the show, and are enjoying their touring schedule.
The band are playing race courses up and down the country before coming to Essex, in what Tommy said is their first ever show in the county.
He said: “This is the most relaxed tour ever. It’s almost like we’re going on a wee holiday and driving around to places we want to see and play.”
Fans going to Hylands can expect a set which spans their whole career, including new material.
Tommy said: “We’ve never been afraid to go into the emotional side of things.”
