A devastated family have paid tribute to a “dearly loved wife, mother, grandmother and friend” who died after her car overturned in a Boreham garden.
Well-known Gillian Edwards, 61, of Heybridge Basin, died after her black Smart car struck a lamp-post in Main Road, Boreham.
Her family issued the following statement: “We, the family of Gillian Edwards, are devastated at the loss of a dearly loved wife, mother, grandmother and friend, after a tragic road traffic accident.
“All who knew Gill will surely miss her kindness, her sense of humour, her strength and lust for life.
“Never backwards in coming forwards, Gill was well known and well loved by a great number of people."
