SEVEN new recruits have joined the Essex police dog unit.
The team, who are special constables, will work alongside regular constables on patrol and help out with training, public demonstrations and everyday kennel duties.
Inspector Brad Dickel said: “The new additions mean my team and I can maximise our support for local policing and sniffing out criminals.
