A BIT of extra sparkle was added to the High Chelmer Shopping Centre as jewellery brand Pandora opened its 200th store.

The new shop is the latest jewellery offering at High Chelmer and has created a number of new jobs for Chelmsford as well as showcasing the company’s full range of charms, bracelets, necklaces and earrings.

High Chelmer Centre Manager Mick McDonagh said: “We have worked hard to develop the range of services we have on offer to our shoppers, and so for Pandora to open its landmark 200th branch here underlines our commitment to giving local shoppers the widest possible choice.

“The process to recruit the team who will manage and run the new store is currently underway, so we can look forward to welcoming a number of new colleagues to the centre as well.

Deputy centre manager Carley Beck added: “Pandora will undoubtedly attract lots of new customers to High Chelmer and I am particularly pleased to see that the opening of this attractive new shop has created jobs for local people.

“We are delighted to welcome Pandora and we wish the whole team a long and successful future here at the centre.”
