CHELMSFORD City face a West Ham XI at Melbourne Park on Friday in their first home pre-season friendly of the summer.
The Clarets beat Saffron Walden 1-0 in their opening warm-up game thanks to trialist Charlie Henry goal from a free-kick.
He subsequently signed for Mark Hawkes’ team and was joined by Michael Toner, who has signed a deal after impressing last season following his arrival from Harlow Town.
Henry left City two seasons ago to play for Team Wellington in New Zealand and counts Aldershot Town and Newport County among his previous clubs.
Chelmsford have also announced a Brighton & Hove Albion XI will play at Melbourne Park on Saturday, July 25.
