Give bowls a go at RHP Bowls Club's open day
RHP Bowls Club are holding a come-and-try day at the club headquarters in Canterbury Way, St Fabians Drive, Chelmsford on Saturday, May 7, between 10am and 14pm.
The club was established in 1944 and provides lawn green bowling for both social and competitive bowlers.
Members play in men’s, women’s and mixed leagues and play club weekday leagues.
The club coach and other experienced members will offer assistance and advice to potential bowlers. The only stipulation is that flat-soled shoes must be worn on the green.
The club remains active during the winter months by competing in County Carpet Bowls leagues and organises social events.
